Information & Support Manager

This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven and empathetic individual to lead on delivering our support and services offering to the community of people living with Scleroderma and Raynaud's.

We are now at a very exciting point in our organization's journey towards ensuring that no one has to have their life limited by Scleroderma and Raynaud's. In addition to leading on the delivery of our information and support offering, you will also work closely with the Head of Research and Services to develop our critical Patient Public Involvement (PPI) programme.

This role will suit an individual with excellent stakeholder management skills and a keen eye for detail, as well as a drive to learn and develop in a fast paced environment in order to make a real difference to the lives of people living with scleroderma and Raynaud's.

Role Overview

Working with the Head of Research and Services, the Information and Support Manager will:

  • Manage and deliver our information offering across various communication channels. This includes ensuring that the information is evidence based and up to date, as well as being in line with the Information Quality Standard.
  • Manage the development of the SRUK Support Network. This includes administration of our volunteer helpline, oversight of the support group networks, and delivery of information days.
  • Lead on the development and implementation of a Patient Public Involvement (PPI) framework across our key activity themes of Empowerment, Awareness, Healthcare and Research.

    Charity Administrator

    Be at the heart of an ambitious and dynamic charity, directly engaging with supporters and working across the full team to improve the lives of people affected by Scleroderma & Raynaud's.

    This role is based in central London.

    Scleroderma & Raynaud's UK (SRUK) is a new charity formed by the merger of two patient organisations, the Raynaud's & Scleroderma Association and the Scleroderma Society.

    SRUK is the only charity dedicated to improving the lives of people affected by Scleroderma and Raynaud's, both autoimmune, connective tissue conditions. We exist to improve awareness and understanding of these conditions, to support those affected, and ultimately to find a cure.

    Working with the Head of Operations and Head of Engagement and Development the Charity Administrator will:

    • Co-ordinate and organise the smooth, efficient and effective running of our busy office environment in a warm, professional and responsive manner.
    • Support the Head of Operations in the running the charity's operations.
    • Assist with general office and basic finance administration.
    • Build an excellent reputation of support services so that it is regarded as a centre of excellence by offering supporters/customers the best possible experience.
    • Provide administrative support to the senior management team to support efficient and effective charity operations.
    • Build strong relationships with supporters/customers to develop positive long-term relationships.
    • Diligently administer all enquiries and capture supporter/customer data to build the knowledge base and ensure a 360 profile of supporters is developed and maintained.
    • Monitor and administer membership renewals and income to ensure membership is offering return on investment.

    As the Charity Administrator, you will play a key role by offering an excellent supporter/customer experience, which will successfully deal with enquiries, provide expert information and build strong relationships. You will have experience of managing, maintaining and developing customer relationships, a clear understanding of best practice in customer service, excellent communication skills and the ability to successfully deal with a range of enquiries.

    This is a great opportunity for an organised individual who is passionate about supporter care and is looking to be responsible for a broad portfolio of operations.

    Head of Fundraising & Communications

    We are looking for an ambitious individual to join our team and play a key role in taking Scleroderma & Raynaud's UK to the next stage in its journey of transformation and growth. Critical to our success will be our goal to significantly increase our income over the next five years.

    The role is based in London.

    Salary: £45-50,000 depending on skills and experience.

    SRUK is the only charity in the UK dedicated to improving the lives of people affected by Scleroderma and Raynaud's. We exist to improve awareness and understanding of these conditions, to support those affected, and ultimately to find a cure.

    This is an exciting time to join the organisation as we scale up to deliver on our ambition to significantly increase the level of investment in research and services, so that people affected by Scleroderma or Raynaud's have access to the best treatment, information and support.

    Working with the Chief Executive, the Head of Fundraising & Communications will:

    • Lead on SRUK's income generation, managing all fundraising, marketing and communications activities.
    • Increase the organisation's engagement with current and potential supporters, ensuring an integrated approach to their engagement and mobilisation.
    • Drive forward a digital approach to engagement and development.

    We are looking for someone with experience of working across a broad portfolio of income streams and a proven track record in generating income against targets. You will have exceptional interpersonal skills, and the ability to influence a wide range of stakeholders. Working collaboratively and being a team player are essential skills. The successful candidate will understand the balance of being hands-on in order to get things done and working strategically so that SRUK meets its long-term objectives.

    We are looking for individuals with a desire to create positive change and to make a real difference to the lives of people with Raynaud's and Scleroderma.
