World Scleroderma Congress
Join the 5th World Scleroderma Congress in Bordeaux and learn about a range of topics from leading scleroderma specialists from across the World.
The Congress combines a scientific programme for leading scleroderma specialists to discuss progress and future developments for the management and treatment of scleroderma alongside a patient programme aimed at furthering understanding of the conditions.
The 5th World Scleroderma Congress will be a significant challenge for the scientific committee in the effort to provide an exciting and up to date scientific programme. The combination of hands-on workshops, lectures, oral presentations and satellite sessions will provide an exciting mix of experiences that will be put at disposal for all attendees that devote their work to people with scleroderma.
The Patient Program for the Fifth World Systemic Sclerosis Congress will consist of interactive sessions of lectures and discussions between doctors and medical staff and patients.
Lectures will be given in English but translated into major audience languages.
Some topics will be covered in smaller groups and in different languages.
Experts will answer questions such as: developments in scleroderma treatments, an update on major research projects, how to treat pain in digital ulcers, latest development in plastic surgery, how to manage mouth care, etc. Specific topics such as pregnancy, juvenile scleroderma, scleroderma's impact on sexual life will be addressed in smaller groups. Workshops will help you experience how to prevent and treat digital ulcers, relaxation and sophrology technics, wax baths, face and hand massages, etc.

After February 4, 2018 only registration onsite will be accepted.
The cost of the registration fee for the Patient congress is Euro 35,00, VAT included.
Additional Euro 10,00, VAT included will be charged for simultaneous translation service, if required.

Registration can be cancelled without any penalty within February 4, 2018. The refund will be made within 60 days after the end of the congress.
For cancellations received after February 4, 2018, no refund will be provided.
On Friday, February 16 a dinner at the Restaurant La Petite Gironde (https://www.lapetitegironde.fr) will be organized at the cost of Euro 30,00 per person, vat included.
